What is ABC Detox Juice and its Benefits?


ABC juice is a tasty combination of apple, beetroot, and carrot juice. It is simple to make and requires juicing the 3 ingredients in a juicer.

What are the Benefits of ABC Juice?

Before I started making the ABC Juice I did some research about the benefits and found the following:

1. It great for detoxification, i.e removal of toxic substances from your body.
2. It helps improve blood vessel health by acting as a blood vessel cleaner to avoiding foreign bodies of blood vessels from causing arteriosclerosis to the vessel wall.

In summary, the ABC juice helps remove fat by using the fat as energy so preventing it accumulating in the body. It is supposed to effectively reduces abdominal fat. Now, this is what I’ve found and for me, I drink ABC juice regularly and also do a morning fasted workout. So It can be just the ABC juice or the combination of fasting and exercise. All I can say is my waistline has reduced. Regardless, it tastes good and is full of nutrients. With all things, you need to apply discipline and constancy. It’s a good breakfast replacement in my opinion.

The alkaloid component contained in raw beetroot may contain traces of toxicity and may cause side effects such as digestive disorders, diarrhea, and abdominal pain in the case of digestive or immunity weak people. For those who have a good digestion, boil carrots and beets for 15 minutes to make them.

Tip: The lightly boiled bit softens the tissue of fibrin, increasing the digestive absorption rate in the body more than twice.

How to Choose and Prepare your Ingredients

With any fruit and vegetables you buy there are often traces of pesticides on it. This is due to our modern day industrial farming. There is alot on this topic but I will leave it for a future post. It’s best to buy organic or at least chemical-free produce. Buy from a local farmers market, where possible. Otherwise, make sure you wash your ingredients thoroughly. Peel the apple, carrot and beetroot after wash. If you buy organic fruit and vegetables, just wash, cut and blend.

How to Make ABC juice

Ingredients:

Apple, carrot, beet (1: 1: 0.3 ratio)200 ml water, 1 small lemon (optional), a little ginger (optional)

Preparation:

Lemon Water

To make your lemon liquid add lemon juice from 1 small lemon and mix it together with 200 ml of water. The lemon reduces the bitterness of the juice and makes it taste more refreshing

Now for the ABC Juice component

  1. Prepare the Beetroot: Some people choose to boil the beetroot while others wish to use the beetroot as is. For me, I boil a batch of beetroot to add to my salad and usually leave a bit for the next morning. Peel the Beetroot skin with a peeler or a potato knife
  2. Cut apples, carrots, and beetroots put them in a blender. You can remove part of the mixture if you feel like its too thick for you.
  3. Adds 200ml of lemon juice and water to the mixture for a refreshing taste!
  4. Now blend it!
  5. The detox juice is now completed!

Adding Lemon and Ginger give it the extra boost to immunity on top of the existing benefits.

How to juice ginger

Cut up a thumb size amount of ginger into small cubes and add to your blender.

How Thick Should the Juice Be?

For thicker consistency just include all the pulp. This way you can get 100% of fiber-rich in apple carrot beetroot, which is good for intestinal health and removal of visceral fat.

What is the Best Time to Drink ABC Juice?

The best time to make this juice is in the morning. ABC juice has the best absorption rate in the body when taken on an empty stomach in the morning. To maximize its effectiveness, its best to drink it with an empty stomach. I usually combine drinking my ABC Juice straight after I finish my intermittent-fasting.

What if I am Constipated After Drinking ABC Juice?

You may experience constipation after drinking ABC juice. If this is the case, it may be due to excessive fiber intake, drink plenty of water!

Other receipes I can make from the ABC Ingredients

While making the ABC juice, I started to look into how best to eat beetroots. This a nutrient-rich superfood and it’s best to eat it in a few ways when you are preparing for your juice. I would boil them in bulk and then use it for salads.
I made a Spinach, Beetroot, Avocado, and Mango Salad. It’s pretty easy and a good dressing to make is to combine olive oil squeeze a wedge of lemon juice, add a touch of pepper and you’re done.

Final Thoughts
